A High Cube Shipping Container is 9 feet 6 inches tall which is an extra foot taller than a standard height shipping container which measures 8 feet 6 inches high. Most high-cube shipping containers measure 8 feet wide and 40 feet or 45 feet long.

We do offer new one trip 20’ High Cube containers on a limited basis.  High-cube containers are an especially good choice if you are planning to convert a container into a tiny home or office. The higher ceiling gives the container a more spacious feeling and provides additional space for insulating the container if needed.

External dimensions – 40’ long, 8’ wide, and 9’6” high. 

High Cubes are 1 foot taller than standard shipping containers. It will give you more vertical storage space and will feel less boxy inside. 

How much space will it take up? It will take up roughly the same area as two large parking bays placed head-to-toe.

How wide is the door?

Door height – 7’ 8” wide and 8’6” high 

  • You will fit a standard queen-sized mattress carried flat through the door. There will be about a foot on either side. 
  • You will easily be able to carry a large refrigerator upright through the door.

Used Shipping Containers

  • Used Cargo-worthy: Cargo-worthy containers are used containers that have been inspected and certified to meet shipping industry standards. They are suitable for international shipping as they meet the necessary requirements for strength, structural integrity, and weather-tightness.
  • Used Wind and watertight (WWT): WWT containers are used containers that are no longer suitable for international shipping due to minor damage or wear. However, they maintain their ability to keep out wind and water. These containers are commonly used for on-site storage, modified into custom structures, or repurposed for various applications.
  • Used As-is: As-is containers are sold in the condition they are currently in, without any guarantees or repairs. These containers may have significant wear, damage, or structural issues. They are often purchased by those who require containers for non-cargo purposes, such as storage, construction projects, or creative modifications.
